A BCIA award‑winning Building Management Systems specialist is expanding their commissioning team due to continued project growth across Berkshire, West London, and the Home Counties. Known for high engineering standards and excellent employee satisfaction, this business delivers high‑quality BMS projects across commercial buildings and complex HVAC environments.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced BMS Commissioning Engineer looking for stability, progression, and a supportive technical team.

What you’ll be doing

You’ll take responsibility for the full commissioning lifecycle, ensuring BMS systems are functional, optimised, and aligned with design specifications. Your work will directly support energy efficiency, system performance, and client satisfaction.

  • Commissioning BMS systems from point‑to‑point testing through to final handover
  • Configuring controllers, networks, and field devices
  • Producing and modifying BMS software, strategies, and graphics
  • Carrying out integrated system testing and performance validation
  • Identifying and resolving commissioning issues on site
  • Working closely with project managers, installers, and clients
  • Supporting client demonstrations, witnessing, and training
  • Completing commissioning documentation, test sheets, and O&M input

What experience we are looking for

  • Proven experience in BMS commissioning
  • Strong understanding of HVAC control strategies
  • Experience with Trend, Tridium Niagara, Schneider or similar platforms
  • Ability to read and interpret control drawings and specifications
  • Strong fault‑finding and problem‑solving skills
  • Confident communicator with clients and site teams
  • Full UK driving licence
